JOGMEC Survey and Technology Department surveys on the latest oil and gas field exploration and development technologies annually. This is a part of the survey, which is regarding to drilling and completion technologies for oil and gas fields. Managed Pressure Drilling technology has been selected as one of survey themes in 2008.

1. Contract name for this invitation
“Trend Survey of Managed Pressure Drilling”

2. Content on this survey (Please refer the specification “Appendix 1” for more detail)
　　Proposal should cover the content as below,

　　�AInterview content and Candidate of contact from oil industry
　　�BCandidate for Case study
　　�CFuture prospect

3.Timeframe and Schedule
　　4 months from the date of the agreement contract, no later than 31th, January 2008.
　　Planned date of start of the contract : August 2008
　　Reporting requirement is as below,
　　・Progress report : Every 2 weeks
　　・Intermediate report : 2 months after the entry into contract
　　・Draft of final report : 1 month before the end of contract
　　・Final report : No later than the end of contract
　　(Final report would be distributed to the Japanese E&P Industry)

4.Quotation
　　Bid and Breakdown for each item of work must be submitted.
　　Quotation must clearly indicate the unit cost with every brief breakdown and the total costs
　　and be in accordance with the Proposal Form Example (Appendix 2)
　　Planned maximum budget would be 225,000US$

5.Proposal outline
(1) Requirement for application
　　a.Considerable knowledge and experience on oil and gas development
　　b.Substantial organization and personnel for the execution of this survey
　　c.Acceptance of the JOGMEC basic contract form (Appendix 3 for reference)
(2) Application measure
　　Send the Proposal, which should be made in a form similar to Appendix 2, by registered mail
　　or courier according to the deadline and mailing address as below.
